  • Mike Rogers leads the Higher Education consulting efforts for NFF. Before joining NFF, Mike was the Executive Director of Information Technology at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) for nine years. Previous to his leadership role at UDC, Mike held engineering leadership roles at the Washington Research Library Consortium and the Office of Naval Research and was a Solutions Architect with Dell/EMC. He is a frequent speaker at education and technology conferences.
  • Pete Cevenini began his career as a Principal of Charles County Public Schools and Director of STEM programs, and leads the K-12 consulting efforts for NFF. Before joining NFF, Pete was the Associate Superintendent for Technology and CIO for Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools, for five years. Previous to his role at Montgomery County, Pete held CIO roles at Charles County Maryland Public Schools and the Maryland State Board of Education.  Pete was the Director, Workforce and Education Practice Lead, the Internet Business Solutions Group at Cisco Systems from 2007 –  Pete is a frequent speaker at education and technology conferences.
  • Alan Edwards started his career as a teacher in the UK then East Africa/Kenya. Alan will support NFF and its clients by providing strategic cyber security consulting and managed services with a focus on the state and local government and education markets. Before joining NFF, Alan was the Chief Information Officer and Information Security Director for Computerware, Inc. for eight years. Previous to his role at Computerware, Alan was the President & Virtual CIO/CTO for Whitehorse Technology Solutions for ten years.  Alan held numerous leadership and engineering roles before that, including an engineering role with the United Nations, where he was recruited to run the IT systems for their large humanitarian and peacekeeping missions in post-conflict Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia.
