Washington, D.C., March 19, 2026 – Networking For Future, Inc. (NFF), a Mid-Atlantic-based, performance-driven Information Technology (IT) and Managed Services Provider (MSP), shared that NFF participated in the Infragard National Capital Region (NCR) A.I.-Enhanced Cyber Attacks: Securing Critical Infrastructure event.

The InfraGard program https://www.infragardncr.org/  is a public/private cooperative effort dedicated to improving our national security. InfraGard consists of Chapters throughout the United States and has thousands of members. The FBI leads the U.S. Government side of InfraGard. The private sector side of InfraGard is led by a non-profit corporation, the InfraGard National Members Alliance, which consists of local InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs) throughout the country. An InfraGard “Chapter” refers to the local FBI, the local IMA, and the local InfraGard members working together. “InfraGard” is a registered service mark of the FBI.

InfraGard National Capital Region (InfraGardNCR) consists of professionals committed to creating a more resilient critical infrastructure in the Washington, DC metro area. Membership includes both public and private sector representatives from the defense industrial base, information technology, water supply systems, energy, emergency services, healthcare, transportation, banking, and telecommunications sectors.

Per Alan Edwards, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for NFF, “Continuous learning isn’t optional in cybersecurity, it’s essential. Whether through formal certification (earning my Certified CISO), ongoing self-study (12 AI courses last year), or most impactful, engaging directly with peers and experts across the industry.

Yesterday’s InfraGard NCR session reinforced that value. The discussions on AI-driven attack TTPs, securing operational technology in critical infrastructure, and insights from past nation-state activity were both timely and actionable.

Staying ahead of evolving threats requires collaboration, shared intelligence, and a commitment to growth. These engagements directly strengthen our ability to protect our clients and elevate our cyber capabilities at NFF.”
