Networking For Future Awarded Strategic Contracts to Deliver Next-Generation Wi-Fi 7 at Reagan National and Dulles International Airports
WASHINGTON, October 7, 2026 – Networking For Future, Inc. (NFF), a Mid-Atlantic-based IT solutions provider focused on advanced network engineering and modernization solutions, announced today that it has been awarded two professional services contracts by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) to support the Phase 1 deployment of a Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure upgrade at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport.
The modernization effort comes at a critical time. In 2025, more than 53.9 million passengers traveled through the two-airport system, a new annual record for MWAA. Strong growth at Dulles offset a slight year-over-year decline at Reagan National, underscoring the need for scalable, resilient wireless infrastructure across both airports.
These awards build on NFF’s 2025 task orders to assess MWAA’s existing corporate and public Wi-Fi environments and develop a comprehensive architecture, design, and deployment roadmap for migration to Wi-Fi 7. That work spanned more than 20 million square feet and included updated heat maps, risk assessments, budget estimates, end-user training, and implementation documentation to support a secure, seamless transition.
