Washington, DC, October 10, 2006 – NFF has been awarded a $621,000 contract to design and implement a new enterprise switching and routing system for the DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The procured equipment will replace and update the current aging system as well as provide state of the art security controls required for modern government computing infrastructures. Robust network features and scalability will provide the DC Agency with a cost effective solution while improving the reliability and availability for users during regular business hours and for the District’s accounting, budget, payroll, and tax systems.
