Washington, DC, July 26, 2007 – NFF has been awarded a contract to provide Complete Network Design, Procurement and Implementation of the Network Infrastructure for six Shakespeare Theatre Company facilities within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The two main theatres include the new Harman Center for the Arts, a 21st-century performing arts center that consists of the 775-seat Sidney Harman Hall and the existing 451-seat Lansburgh Theatre. The other four locations include administrative offices, rehearsal hall, costume shop and scene shops. All six facilities require complete network infrastructure upgrades that include core and distribution routing and switching, WAN connectivity, redundant wireless LAN infrastructure, network management systems, network security system and firewalls. Ongoing maintenance and support was also included in this contract.
