Washington, D.C, July 22, 2025 – Networking For Future, Inc. (NFF), a Mid-Atlantic-based, performance-focused IT solutions provider, announced today that in addition to the recently awarded wireless infrastructure upgrade project at Reagan and National Airports, it has been awarded two additional strategic contracts to provide professional services in support of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). These initiatives are aimed at enhancing MWAA’s overall network infrastructure and to meet evolving operational demands at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and their headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
As part of the first award, NFF will support the modernization of MWAA’s network infrastructure to ensure it aligns with current performance standards and is scalable for future growth. This effort reflects MWAA’s commitment to maintaining a secure, resilient, and high-performing IT environment to support critical airport operations.
Under the second award, NFF will provide MWAA with Certified Cisco Security Engineering services to support their network access control systems. The scope includes a comprehensive current state assessment, planning, configuration, testing, and consulting services with post-implementation support.
Dulles Airport and Reagan National Airport had a combined 53.43 million passengers in 2024 — a record high for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Both airports set individual records as well. Total passenger traffic at both airports combined was up 5.8% from 2023. Most of the increase was at Dulles, after gaining six new airlines and more flights last year.
Per Glen Carter, CIO and Vice President of Technology Services for NFF, “NFF has been a proud partner of MWAA for many years, and we deeply appreciate their continued confidence in our team. We’re honored to support MWAA on both of these initiatives that enable a robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports long-term business value creation while improving the passenger experience.
These projects underscore NFF’s continued commitment to delivering advanced, mission-focused networking solutions. With a focus on security, scalability, and user experience, NFF is proud to support MWAA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and future-proof their technology infrastructure.”
