Alan leads the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and built its first formal security practice. He oversees compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and MSP Verify, and drives security architecture, policy governance, and risk mitigation for both NFF and its clients.
Alan brings over 15 years of experience in IT leadership, spanning roles from infrastructure engineer to entrepreneur, CIO, and CISO. His expertise includes cybersecurity, compliance (SOX, HIPAA, PCI, CMMC), infrastructure governance, and operations. Throughout his career, he has led security transformations for high-growth companies, financial firms, healthcare systems, and federal contractors. Alan is also active in the IT and cybersecurity community as President of the SIM Capital Area Chapter and a member of organizations including InfraGard, ISACA, ISC2, and the VigiTrust Advisory Board. He holds certifications including CCISO, CISSP, and CISM.
