Glen Carter, CIO and Vice President of Technology Services at NFF, leads the engineering team responsible for delivering project-based and ongoing support professional services to our customers. Glen’s primary focus is to ensure that NFF’s solutions, both for new and existing customers, are engineered, delivered, and supported in a manner that exceeds expectations.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the network and IT industry, Glen has held a variety of technical and leadership roles. Before joining NFF, he served as the Deputy CTO for the Government of the District of Columbia, where he oversaw the citywide network, telecommunications, server, security, mainframe, and desktop infrastructure. Additionally, he held key positions at Chesapeake Network Consultants and First Union National Bank.

Glen’s career began in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent eight years supporting cryptologic networks. His time in the Marine Corps, including experiences during the Persian Gulf War, honed his ability to handle high-stress situations in the networking field.
