NFF became part of the Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller (AER) Program, demonstrating their ability to meet Microsoft academic customers' evolving needs in today's dynamic business environment.

The AER program is designed to train participating resellers on Microsoft's Academic licensing, authorize them to purchase and resell Microsoft Academic licenses, and demonstrate to customers that they are approved and knowledgeable academic IT partners.

The Microsoft AER authorization shows NFF’s continued commitment and specialism in the academic IT marketplace and demonstrates their knowledge of Microsoft and its academic products and services. By becoming an AER, NFF is able to provide discounted Microsoft academic products to qualifying customers and inspire confidence that they are buying from an academic IT specialist.

NFF staff includes: MCITP, MCP, MCSE, Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint certified engineers and architects. They bring a diverse skill set and perspectives to each project to make sure they understand the business needs and have the ability to execute projects that keep NFF customers at the cutting edge of technology, “Delivering Net Results.”

NFF awarded Storage Area Network (SAN) project by the DC Office of The Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)

NFF was selected to equip OCFO with a SAN and Disaster Recovery (DR) solution. Together with NetApp, NFF developed a Unified Enterprise Storage and DR Solution with multiple tiers of performance to provide OCFO flexibility in addressing varying workloads such as business critical databases and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). This solution delivers OCFO’s requirements for a strategic and fully redundant DR solution capable of supporting the production workload without any loss of performance.

In short, the proposed solution reduces the complexity of managing and scaling the OCFO environment, while reducing not only the acquisition costs, but also staffing, real estate footprint, and cost management in the long-term. The Solution allows OCFO to be well positioned for the future by giving the organization greater flexibility to integrate easily and quickly with applications and services.

Since 2004, NFF has provided on-site information technology implementation and consulting services to OCFO. Throughout these years, NFF has established a solid reputation for providing expert-level IT services and solutions in support of advancing technology initiatives of OCFO. The services provided by NFF, have contributed to building a robust and appropriate core data center network infrastructure and strategic architecture for Network Infrastructure, Server and SAN technologies, maintaining a secure pathway to the sensitive city-wide tax and financial applications OCFO provides to the DC Government.

NFF wins multi-year contract with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission

NFF has been awarded a multi-year contract from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) to provide a wide range of IT Services to the Commission’s Information Technology (IT) Team.

WSSC is a bi- county agency in the State of Maryland that provides water supply and wastewater treatment services to residents and businesses in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. Since 2008 NFF has assisted WSSC with the architecture and implementation of network communications. Responsibilities included administration, engineering, architecture, project management, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of WSSC’s network and telephony infrastructure.

NFF has assisted WSSC in procuring and implementing a new data center network architecture based on Cisco’s Nexus platform. NFF’s Lead Solution Architect who holds a CCIE level certification, lead the network engineering effort to plan and execute a seamless transition procedure involving a phased migration. Currently NFF is engaged in implementing Nexus 7K platform to provide interconnect capabilities for their multiple data center High Availability Roadmap.

NFF Achieves the Cisco Winner’s Circle Award for FY13 Partner Plus Performance

We are very excited to announce that NFF was one of approximately 30 partners nationwide who achieved the Cisco Winner’s Circle award for FY13 Partner Plus performance. One of the acknowledged NFF account managers has been selected to represent NFF at a 3-day event in Cabo San Lucas!

“Cisco Winner's Circle is a very special, elite group of top-performing partner sales representatives from Partner Plus who have achieved truly outstanding results. In appreciation of individual achievements, winners are invited to attend an invitation-only, three-day event at a luxury resort in one of three exotic locations. Winners will have the opportunity to network with top Cisco executives while being recognized as part of the Cisco partner sales team. There are hundreds of partners but only an elite few that will be participating in this trip.”

Winners are selected based on the following eligibility criteria:

  • Enrollment in Cisco Partner Plus and achievement of Partner Plus incentive targets.
  • Successful completion of the “Accelerating Partner Led Sales Excellence” Assessment.
  • Joint nomination by the Partner and Cisco management. 

NFF doubled the projected target revenue as defined jointly with Cisco, prior to entering the Cisco Winner’s Circle. Congratulations to the NFF sales team for your outstanding performance!

NFF Sustains Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence

NFF continues to be a repeat winner, as it has been awarded the Cisco Customer Satisfaction Award for the 18th time! Customer Satisfaction Excellence is the highest distinction a partner can achieve within the Cisco Channel Partner Program. People will be able to identify NFF by a gold star in the Cisco Partner Locator, as having achieved outstanding customer satisfaction as part of Cisco's worldwide assessment process.

Channel Customer Satisfaction Excellence assessment is based upon the customer satisfaction results. Each measurement period, Cisco acknowledges Certified Partners that have the highest customer satisfaction distinction within each geographic region.
